My name is Jeff Slaughter and for 14 years, my family and I lived in Brussels, Belgium – also known as ‘The Chocolate Capital of the World’. While living there, I became fascinated with fine chocolate and earned my professional chocolatier certification.

We now base in the United States where I run a seasonal chocolate business and share my interest in fine chocolate through live workshops and online courses. I enjoy teaching others how to work with fine chocolate and to appreciate some of the history, geography, science, math and vocabulary related to this fascinating topic.

Meet Principal Chocolatier

Jeff Slaughter

My family and I lived in Brussels, Belgium for 14 years serving in Christian missions. If you’ve ever been to Belgium you know there’s an artisan chocolate shop on every corner. In fact, there are 300 different chocolate companies in the tiny country of Belgium. No wonder that Belgium is known as the ‘Chocolate Capital of the World’!

Today, I put smiles on folk’s faces with my handmade artisanal chocolate, including Belgian-style pralines, a variety of bars and holiday products. My treats are handmade from imported Belgian chocolate, beautifully produced and artfully packaged.
